I’m a Product Manager with expertise in early-stage start-ups. I build things from the ground up, from talking to potential customers and conducting market research to refining business requirements, setting up initial processes, and hiring an engineering team that can get it done.

Though I come from a marketing and operations background, working at a bootstrapped start-up allowed me to dive headfirst into the technical aspects of Web and Mobile apps alongside our engineering team.

I know that an amazing design is useless unless there's a clear, effective way to get it into the production code. Learning to think ahead to the engineering challenges made me more effective at designing features that will ship on time and on budget.

I learn fast and love learning about the “boring” areas of an industry that can make a huge impact. By listening to users and trying to truly understand the problem, I quickly go beyond the nuts and bolts of a new industry to help clients recognize solutions that they may not have seen.

In product design, small thoughtful features can create the most delight by removing obstacles for the user, yet they are often overlooked. 

​

If your user can’t use your product effectively it’s often your fault, not theirs, and you can eliminate 90% of support tickets with better design and architecture.
